Why We’re
Doing This...

Every year, Brave Schools—powered by iOpening Enterprises—leads a national campaign designed to inform, connect, and uplift school communities.

In 2026, we’re bringing educator mental health and well-being to the center of the conversation.

Educators are carrying more than ever—emotionally, mentally, and physically. And yet, many of the solutions that exist are top-down, overwhelming, or disconnected from what actually helps day-to-day.

We believe the most meaningful support comes from real people, real experiences, and ideas that can be applied in everyday moments—as well as those that challenge systems and create lasting change.

So we’re building something different.

What kind of ideas are we looking for?

Everyday, practical ideas
  • A 5-minute reset that actually works during the school day

  • A boundary you set that changed everything

  • A mindset, ritual, or practice that helps you stay grounded

  • Something you wish someone had told you earlier

Bigger shifts and system-level ideas
  • A school-wide change that improved staff well-being

  • Dedicated mental health days built into the calendar

  • Community or parent support models that create space for educators

  • Policies or investments that meaningfully reduce burnout

Your idea doesn’t have to be perfect.
It doesn’t have to be groundbreaking.

It just has to be real.

Because one idea—shared at the right moment—can change how someone gets through their day…

or how a system begins to change.

Here are a few ideas already shared ...

"Connection sessions in the classroom has helped me to have a more relational approach to supporting student behavior."
-Middle School teacher
"Emotional regulation stations for teachers!"
-Principal
"Empowering classroom teachers to come up with creative ways to deal with classroom disruptions has made my job a lot more manageable."
-School counselor

Questions

Can I submit more than one idea?

Absolutely! You'll just need to fill out a new form each time.

Will my idea be shared publicly?

At the beginning of 2027 we will compile all of the ideas and release a comprehensive report. Individual contributions may or may not be quoted in the final report.

Do I have to include my name?

No. You'll have the option to include your name and school district or organization if you wish to do so but it's not required.

When will the final resource be released?

Early 2027. To join our mailing list simply indicate on the submission form that you'd like to receive the final report.

How can I get more involved?

We would LOVE to have you on board if that's calling to you! After all, this is for the community, by the community. A few ways you can go beyong an idea submission is to attend or help promote one of our live events, cohost one of our monthly webinars focused on a specific area of educator well-being, or spread the word on your socials, in newsletters, or in any other spaces where you think there are ideas waiting to be shared! Contact connect@iopeningenterprises.com for more information or fill out this form.
